Gumbirra Bed and Breakfast is owned and operated by Alan and Winnie Maguire. It has been a feature of the Dandenong Ranges since it opened in 1999.

As well as running Gumbirra, Alan and Winnie also operate Tiare Black Pearl and Belvedere Chalet in Olinda.

They are always keen to to provide customers with quality in service and products. Alan is a teacher and Winnie a registered nurse with over 40 years of combined experience in customer service between them. They have travelled widely and spent periods living in Ireland, France, Hong Kong, Sth. Korea, French Polynesia and New Caledonia. Alan speaks French and Spanish fluently and Winnie is a native speaker of Cantonese Chinese.

Gumbirra prides itself on its service to guests, with continental or full breakfast materials, champagne, port and chocolates and extras such as late checkout and transport to restaurants if required.
